What would happen if you grabbed yourself between two portals?

    Posted: 03 Dec 2021 11:54 AM PST

For the sake of this argument imagine you're under a table, wich is wrapped by a rope connected to the ceiling and you shoot one portal on the table on top of you, and one at your feet on the ground, as we know you would start and infinite free fall. Now you could very carefully start stretching your legs and back until you are "standing" erect at wich point you could grab your own ankles on top of you. Now imagine after that, someone starts pulling the rope up, taking the table closer and closer to the ceiling in a perfect motion that changes only the height between the two portals. Technically you are still grabbing yourself, but the space between the portals is higher than your own height.

What do you think would happen?

Is this a thought before paradox or am I the only crazy person coming up with this kind of thoughts before falling asleep?

Who had a better redemption arc?

    Posted: 02 Dec 2021 11:11 PM PST

Tbh I'd prefer a side game rather then a Portal 3.

    Posted: 02 Dec 2021 10:57 PM PST

By side game I don't mean a pointless spinoff, I mean something like a game showing the events of portal 2 from Rattmann's POV to give us some closure to his story.

Or maybe a prequel to Portal 1, showing the events of Glados killing everyone, and maybe the last act of the game will recreate the Lab Rat comic.

We kind of got a conclusion to Chell's story in Portal 2, Glados got a redemption arc and I feel a Portal 3 would ruin everything.

maybe if Half Life 3 ever happens, Chell could appear or something like that.
