    Life Lessons in Changing Perspective from Portal

    I doubt the creators had this in mind, but if we look at how some things work in Portal we can take a few of its lessons into our lives. I think that Portal mainly represents solving our problems by changing our perspective. If we are unable to understand something in life from our own point of view we can look at it from another point of view to gain understanding.

    My favorite lesson can be learned from flinging. Flinging can represent a perspective change in which we take an experience that on its own would be very bad (COVID-19 / falling down a shaft) and see the good that can arise from it, such as less deaths from the common flu in the future and the world coming together and being kinder (for the most part) or getting over some other metaphorical gap in our lives.
