So I was playing portal today I got to the part where we get into the elevator I was listening to I'm blue I was making chell dance in the elevator and I was flailing the joysticks around and jumping then the elevator and then the elevator disappeared but it didn't it was over by weatley strange ��

I wanted to explain, so I'll add the link to the image in the comments. The music artist Sleeping At Last has a (very good!) song called "Aperture", and I was intrigued by this and of course, thought of Portal. And turns out, on their website, they have a t-shirt inspired by the song... with an Aperture Labs logo on the front. A splitting image. The description says the shirt was designed "with a photographer's lover's heart in mind" and was designed by a creative agency called Rule29.

What I've gathered is that this agency may have researched the idea of aperture and just stole the idea. I don't think this was the artist's intention and don't want to assume anything. As far as I've been able to tell, this song is not inspired by or endorsed by Portal or Aperture Labs. But the likeness is uncanny.

(EDIT) I do realize that this kind of shutter is a common thing, and if ou look up "aperture" then you will see many 8-piece camera shutters. Nonetheless.

As a starving and aspiring artist, this was simply something I felt I needed to share. It could be nothing but I hate the idea that this was stolen.

Side note: the song does fit well with Chell and her struggles.
