    Portal 2 on MacOS broken after update?

    I just opened Portal 2 on my Mac after a long time of not playing it. I ran all the required updates.

    When I try to move, the WASD keys don't do anything. I can look around with the mouse all I want. I can shoot and even grab with the E key. But any kind of movement is completely broken. I've tried remapping the keys, even uninstalling and reinstalling the game and nothing works. I can't budge.

    Has anybody else experienced this? Is there a possible fix?

    Any help appreciated! I'm was really looking forward to playing again.
