| Portal 1 is broken and doesn’t launch properly - what do I do? Posted: 13 Nov 2020 07:52 AM PST Hi, I have portal 1 on steam but for some reason it doesn't launch properly. Whenever I try to open it the valve guy appears but he's got a bunch of green lines on him, then my resolution gets messed up and my monitor goes into power save mode. If I try to hover over the app in my taskbar it appears that the game is loaded, but the picture is in a small corner of my screen and when I click on it my monitor goes into power save mode again. I've played and beaten the game before so I know it has previously worked on my device. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times to no avail. I've also restarted my computer with no success. Does anyone know about this glitch? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
