    Why doesn't Chell speak to Wheatley or post-redemption GLaDOS?

    The working theory seems to be that Chell isn't physically mute, but chooses not to talk in order to spite GLaDOS. That's all fine and dandy, but GLaDOS and Chell aren't enemies throughout the entirety of Portal 2, so why doesn't Chell start talking after they become allies?

    Also, why doesn't she speak to Wheatley? She would have no reason to not talk to him, right?

    My pet headcanon is that Chell was able to speak up through the original Portal, but after she went into her second suspension, she literally lost the ability to talk. This is evidenced by the fact that she can make grunting sounds in Portal 1 but not Portal 2. How exactly this would happen I can't explain, but it probably would have something to do with the fact that she was put in suspension for much longer, and she was probably 'abandoned' by caretaking cores at some point before she's woken up by Wheatley, meaning that she wouldn't be immaculately preserved anymore.

    Although after one of the loading screens, PotatOS does say "I'd love to help you solve the tests, but I can't". This comes off as unprompted, but it's not out of the question that Chell's first words to PotatOS in the elevator was something along the lines of "Why aren't you helping me solve the tests if you know how they work?".

    The counterpoint to this counterpoint is that GLaDOS calls Chell a "dangerous, mute lunatic" at the end of the game, which implies that Chell remained silent the entire time. But if she did lose the ability to speak, it's probably not a big stretch that she sign-languaged her question about test assistance to GLaDOS in the elevator.

    Portal mention in Star Trek Online

    Odd phrasing, I know. I'm not sure how else to put it Anyways, so at the end of Still alive Chell makes it out and you see GLaDOS on the surface, but in 2 she is back in the boss room. Also how did Chell get stuck at Aperture again? Is it ever explained or is it all just guesses?

    Does anyone know who "He" is?

    I was thinking Wheately, but GLaDOS never really seemed to care about Wheatley. Plus she knows hes a personality sphere, so I doubt she'd care about finding him in the "Employee Database"... I'd say Doug Rattmann, but theres zero reason that Doug shouldn't be listed in the Employee Database, plus, I really doubt GLaDOS would mention Doug. Anyone have any idea??

    If there was a third portal game released, what do you think it would be about?

    I thought it would be cool for it to be more tied in to the half life universe. Maybe chell travels to black Mesa, which is still there similar to aperture science, and the regular portal puzzles follow and she tries to go through the old facility. Maybe she even accidentally sends herself to zen by activating an old portal, there could even be a cool tie in to one of the old dlcs like she uses the portal Barney Calhoun uses. Since we know portal is very far in the future and humans have assumedly disappeared from earth I also think it would be cool if chell ends up finding human refugees in xen. To top it off, I think a portal game would be great in vr so maybe they will do that.

    She was most likely at the bring your daughter to work day, and then obviously survived the neurotoxin somehow. What would have happened to her then? All the scientists are dead and her guardians would be too, right? Did GLaDOS raise her (dope fanfic idea btw)?
