    Hello, and again, welcome to the Aperture Science computer-aided enrichment center. We hope your brief detention in the relaxation vault has been a pleasant one.

    The Enrichment Center is pleased to present the May 2020 /r/Portal Test Chamber Showcase.

    Here, you may post links to up to three chambers, or one collection. You may post your own chamber or someone else's chamber, but if it was made by someone else, please be advised that Aperture Science regulations require you to credit the author. If you fail to do so, you must disregard any undeserved praise.

    Feedback and discussion about chambers you have tested in this thread is highly encouraged, as it helps creators to improve their work.

    So, I was replaying Portal 2, and I just thought something. So you know how Wheatley was specifically designed to make the worst possible decisions? Well, him betraying Chell and taking control of the facility WAS one of the worst decisions to make because it ultimately got the facility wrecked and him launched into space. He truly was the best at what he was designed to do.

    We know that a group of people is (or was) working on A complete Portal remake in Portal 2, but has anyone actually made a good quality demake of Portal in the Goldsrc engine? It's something I would honestly love to see, it would take time considering Goldsrc does'nt have a proper physics engine like Source does.

    Portal 2 update for 5/1/20

    Via the Steam store:

    • Fixed controller input bugs in Puzzlemaker.
    • Fixed a graphics bug on some DirectX 10 level hardware.
    • Updated localization strings.

    Portal VR | Quick Update #2

    Ugh.. This is so hard. This is just a quick update on the Portal VR game I'm working on. The Portals are still a bit... difficult to work with. I'm not losing hope. I think I'll be able to do this correctly soon. I'm having a hard time on the player rotation and portal collisions. Wish me luck and feel free to leave some constructive criticism.

    I Know you all may ignore the title and hat me for this, but I believe I've posted this somewhere before. Does anyone else think that Aperture Science could connect so many universes ranging from movies to video games to books, Like I feel that Aperture is Able to build an animatronic advanced enough to have a full body endoskeleton (such as Fnaf SL) or Aperture could build a more advanced "key" as seen in Stranger Things, opening up a portal between not only those dimensions, but also opening Multiple other dimensions like Spiderman into the spider verse, and arange the gates in a coded fashion like Nightmare Before Christmas. Again I know I will get hate, but am I crazy for thinking this?

    how powerful is GLaDOS

    i always thought about how undeniably powerful glados is,i always assumed glados is a ever evolving machine that has probly reached or is near the the singularity. but how powerful is she,she is able to minipulate gravity and space it seems,lecticity (seen in lego dimensions),but im still uncertain how powerful she is sense in any time apature or she is seen in a game somthing new is always revealed about her power,i dont know if shes able to raise the dead as she mentioned in portal 2 otherwise she wouldent go get those stored test subjects that altes and pbody went and got,and its still unknown what shes going to do with those baby birds,and from portal one it seems she also has combine tech of sorts,it seems her powers are limitless as time goes on,mabye if portal 3 happens (witch will most likey be a vrgame wich would make it hard to make) im curios if shes will become godlike if she keeps upgrading herself and creating more and more testing eqipment
