Are Discouragement Redirection Cubes (aka. mirror cubes) possible IRL? Posted: 25 Dec 2019 02:41 PM PST That is, a cube that, no matter where light enters it, it always leaves from the same side? And I mean, like, actual redirection. No bullshit like "there's a laser inside it facing one side and it only activates if you shine a laser onto it". I assume it would need to somehow reflect light hitting every possible angle on all sides to a single one, which sounds like such a mess of mirrors that I'm not sure if even would be possible. Maybe using some fancy optical fiber work? [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 25 Dec 2019 01:04 PM PST All i want for christmas is portal, but better portal 2 with rtx feature. Think how amaizing would it look, reflecting water in GLaDOS chamber during wake up, Beautiful lazers and effects in destroyed aperture and old one. Just think about lights from shooting turrets on black walls. Maybe someday my wish become true. Ps: i think i would require more advanced engine, I think unreal would be perfect.
