    Portal Stories: Mel Controller Issue

    This game has been out for like 6 years now, not really sure how this hasn't been resolved? Most of what I see online is people saying "wellll that's just how portal/2 is"?

    I'm honestly confused, playing on Macbook w/ PS4 Dualshock. I played through both 1 and 2 on Steam a while back and they ran just fine, same controller and computer too. Now, neither 1 nor 2 are working with a controller (mainly joysticks do nothing, all the other buttons are functional) and same thing with PS: Mel.

    Booted it up earlier today and just randomly everything worked fine, played for an hour or so. Shut down Steam and made some food etc, a couple hours later I'm all excited to go play again and the controller is back to non-functioning joysticks??

    Having a bad day and this is not helping!!! Anything constructive is appreciated.
