    This has been a question of mine ever since that GLaDOS scene with Wheatley being designed as a moron and nothing but a useless core. So was it Wheatley who gave the idea to GLaDOS to kill everyone or she just became rogue and decided to kill everyone?

    You know what, I've been thinking, is Wheatley an idiot?

    We all know Wheatley, that spherical little personality core we were all betrayed by. We all know he's a personality core designed to be an idiot to dull Glados's own intellect, but what if he failed? To be more specific, what if he isn't actually an idiot?

    I'll go over all the evidence I've gather from playing this game, sorted by the least solid to the most.

    The first piece of evidence, and the weakest, glados often undermines anyone she dislikes as a means of psychological warfare. She constantly mocks Chell for being an orphan, the calls her fat, she says she's too slow at solving the test, and she just hates her. Now obviously anyone helping her out, glados would probably hate them too. So if she constantly called Wheatley dumb Wheatley would be less confident in himself, especially if she pointed out litterally every mistake.

    The next piece of evidence I present to you in this, Wheatley was smart enough to wake up Chell. Although he said he didn't know that Chell killed glados (as pointed out in the scene where glados wakes up), if he was only pretending not to realize it, it would be a smart decision to wake up glados and have the person who killed her help you. He might've also activated glados on purpose to be able to take over the facility without having to fix it himself. This piece of evidence is a lot of speculation though.

    My final piece of evidence (for now) is that Wheatley has a lot of smart plans. When he helped Chell escape that was a very well laid out plan, an idiot wouldn't have came up with such a good plan. He had a good plan to capture Chell in chapter 9, the part where he kills you. It was so good even glados gave him credit. Even his final boss fight, with the exception of that white gel tube, was genius. He looked at what glados did wrong, and didn't do it.

    Now granted, wheatley's made some dumb decisions, like when he tried to kill you after his initial trap, but they were all plans that were made very fast. It's also hard to explain his lack of maintenance, but that could've just been laziness.

    How do I 'downgrade' the Portal Gun in Portal 2?

    Earlier this playthrough I ran upgrade_potatogun in the developer console, but now I want to have the normal portal gun back (without GLaDOS). Is this possible?

    Does downloading portal reloaded prevents me from playing normal Portal 2?

    Probably a very stupid question, but if I download portal reloaded am I able to switch between it and the normal portal 2? How do I do it?
