Some configurations tips for playing local co-op on pc Posted: 05 May 2020 02:14 PM PDT A little while ago Portal 2 received an update that made it possible to play local co op with keyboard and controller, so without any hacks. see https://store.steampowered.com/news/56268/ I also have a widescreen, so I thought I would have the perfect system to play local coop. Turned out things didn't work out of the box. So I here are the solutions I found to make things work! Problem 1: Both players, keyboard and controller, are controlling p-body. To solve this open Big Picture mode, go to settings, controller settings, and enable support for your controller. After this you don't need big picture mode. Problem 2: widescreen local co op has large bars taking up space. To solve this go to the game system files, open the folder portal2, then edit the file "splitscreen_config.txt". Change the values under "widescreen_vertical_split" from "aspect" "8 by 9" to "aspect" "21 by 18" Hope this helps some players who want to try local co op. I had to search a lot for these solutions, so I hope this makes things easier! [link] [comments] | ||

Does anyone else like GLaDOS’s Portal 1 design over Portal 2? Posted: 05 May 2020 05:30 PM PDT Straightforward question. If you look for images of GLaDOS you'll almost exclusively find her Portal 2 design, and theres very few images of her from the first game. Do people dislike the Portal 1 look? What're your thoughts?
