Posted: 23 Jan 2022 03:46 PM PST I was on tiktok (ik i broke reddit rules but i dont give a fuck) and I saw this video about glados and i remember saying shes the best for deleting the homocidal Caroline. Im 100% convinced Caroline was the homocidal part of glados where all that time spent alive drove caroline insane and she simply corrupted herself over that time. People have been commenting on my comment saying Glados was the homocidal one, yet that doesnt make any sense. Glados was the one who saved us and Glados was the one who let us go. They say that deleting Caroline made glados loose all her humanity and morality but they dont understand that glados is the result of an AI learning from Caroline and developing itself to understand human emotion. Not to mention the bunches of cores the Scientists put on The Glados mainframe to regulate her. Caroline was the homocidal part of Glados, where Glados was the one who showed us compassion. If glados was the homocidal one Chell would be floating among the stars just like wheatley and the space core. Caroline was excused from homocide because of her pure attitude but you think she wanted to be glados? She went insane when she was put inside the computer and in return flooded the facility with neurotoxin to kill the very scientists who did that to her.
