how to subscribe portal2 mods and be able to play without crashes at the same time? Posted: 04 Jan 2021 03:05 PM PST hi all. since i completed portal 2, i wanted to play workshop mods now. i subscribed like 1000 of them. but i have 2 problems: first: it takes ridiculously long until portal2 fully loads the list of mods ingame. it loads them freaking slowly 1 by 1 every launch. second: after 5 min list loading the game crashes. so i cant even play, cant even go past list loading, and list loading takes ridiculously long in the first place anyways. and after 5min of loading it freezes, lads extremely and eventually portal2 along with steam crash does anyone has an idea how to prevent this? its a mystery for me why 1000 subscribe dmods make the game crash. its not like portal loads all 1000 levels at once. only job it has ot list them for me to pick one to play... makes no sense for me submitted by /u/kanink007 [link] [comments]
