With the death of Flash, anyone had a link or have ApertureScience.com (which is Flash) archived in some manner?

Title says it all. Is there a portal (ignore the pun) where one can still mess around with ApertureScience.com, or at least see a few screencaps?

    Idea for a tabletop RPG

    Posted: 30 Dec 2020 04:57 PM PST

    Hi!

I'm Cave Johnson. The lab boys tell me these pre recorded messages are a bad idea, but what do they know? I pay the bills!

I have an idea where you can take on the part of a group of test subjects going around solving problems and lore. This idea works less in a physics based testing environment and more on the "behind the scenes" things. So going through the turret redemption line in Portal2 and that kind of thing.

To make your character, you need basic D&D style dice. You start off rolling 4 six-sided dice and that determines your attributes and test subject number. The "Dungeon Master" acts as the Cave Johnson/GLADoS of your testing but also sets the scene.

The rest such as races and such will be talked about as time goes on.

Finally, you can play in three "eras."

Era 1 - Post Neurotoxin During this time, you become GLADoS' first set of human test subjects. You're working in the old yet sterile environments with unruly portals and guns that often need repairing. This would be the scientists working under a dying Cave Johnson and just getting bored of working so attempting to navigate to the surface.

Era 2 - Mid Chell This is in the 50,000 year period between Portal and Portal 2. You are being woken up for tests led by a core that introduces itself as the "GLADoS backup core and testing associate for Aperture Scientific Laboratories." This is more sterile first game settings.

Era 3 - 1 week test period You are trying to escape during GLADoS' killing spree in which she murders every lasting human in the facility. This is VERY backstage/New Aperture Focused.

Edit: For better info and a chance at joining, DM me.

idea for a portal spinoff or something

    Posted: 31 Dec 2020 01:03 AM PST

well i don't really have a plot but i do have one idea

    the aperture funneling device

basically, you can shoot one of those funnel things with left click, and right click to toggle the direction

it doesn't go on forever, which could probably be explained by the fact it's coming from a gun or something idk

also it can't be shot on certain surfaces

    Aperture tag time trial

    Posted: 30 Dec 2020 08:45 PM PST

I just finished aperture tag, and my favorite part by far was the escape sequence where you had 50 seconds to go through that course. Are there any community maps or other mods that are similar to that level?
