    Chell is kept awake throughout the tests with "Adrenal Vapor," which sounds like some form of gaseous adrenaline. Chell is essentially kept in an artificial fight or flight response at all times, which means that her heart is working overtime no matter what she's doing. Picture that, your heart pounding at run-for-your-life speeds for DAYS on end! Her heart will literally keep working at maximum capacity until it physically can't anymore! HOW IS SHE NOT DEAD OF A MASSIVE FREAKING HEART ATTACK?

    I would not be surprised if she had heart issues for the rest of her life after escaping.

    (And yes, I know that your body eventually becomes desensitised to adrenaline, but 1. GLaDOS probably adjusts the concentration to combat this and 2. Even short term adrenaline overdose CANNOT be good for you.)
