    ... was how you never had to "commute" your player. Even walking in the hallways between levels I was always like "10 meters down that hallway? Nah no thanks" and then would just teleport to the other end

    It felt like skip-walking as a kid between hallways how it was a silly, goofy thing to do just because. Anyway. I just finally beat Portal after all these years and wanted to share this somewhere :)

    I mean They're clearly strong enough to do some damage, they can punch elevators down shafts and we've seen the panels crush Atlas and P-body in the panels ad.

    Core Transfer Elevator Shaft (Portal 2 Spoilers)

    After the core transfer is completed and Wheatley calls up an elevator, he smacks you did a pit. From what we can see, it's a fairly old-fashioned, rough pit without any modern technology in sights. How did he manage to call an elevator up, when the only things below are a massive pit and old Aperture?
