    at the end of portal 1 you see all of those spheres wake up, those are actually the personality cores that you see in portal 2 and that would also fit with the meet the cores series by harry101UK making it kind fit in with the canon, because in one of the videos the ego core says that he hasn't seen glados in a while, anyway back to canon, at the point in the game where you find a bunch of corrupted cores there is also a large amount of dead ones, probably enough to fill the warehouse that you see in portal 1, i also believe they turned on because when chell killed glados all of the cores powered up to keep the facility running but considering it has been 50000 years they obviously all died. anyways tell me what you think of this theory.

    What the fuck? This is for test chamber 14 btw. It takes about 5 seconds to leave the elevator hallway and reach the chamber. Are you telling me the devs are expecting me to take 5 seconds to go all the way to the left, parkour to the cube, bring the cube to the button, go through the door (no portal access there), portal the energy ball in the wall, ride the elevator. The elevator alone takes about 5 seconds if you jump spam. Wtf is this shit. This also means that to achieve rank 1 on this chamber i need to finish the level in less than that? Fuck this

    They have updated the game and re worked the rooms, and no YouTube tutorials (that I've seen) cover them and I'm very stuck! I don't like watching games and would much rather play but I can't spend all my time on 1 level...

    This is probably a question you guys answer alot, but what is the continuity between the portal games. I've recently played the first one, and watched a story recap of the second one. After completing the first game, Glados makes it VERY clear that she is still alive, but then upon starting the second game, she's been dead since you killed her. What actually happened?
