    Made in Minecraft

A while back I made Aperture in Minecraft Bedrock edition with GLaDOS and all. So I made it again in Java Edition! This time the AI room is a mix of Portal 2's room and Portal 1's room. I need to work on fully automating the test chambers then I'll give a full tour of the facility.

    Starting Portal 2

    Posted: 17 Feb 2020 11:36 AM PST

This is a follow-up to my last post on this sub.

I ended up getting an Xbox 360, a 20 GB hard drive, and Portal 2 all for about $70. I'm starting Portal 2 and I'm really excited. Any tips for a first-time player?

Edit: I was also planning on getting Portal: Still Alive on the Xbox Live Arcade.

Is this a glitch or was it intended?

    Posted: 17 Feb 2020 08:07 AM PST

Recently I was playing Portal 1 again, and in Testchamber 5, I was fooling around with the door, trying to see if I could break it. (We've all done that, right?) So I decided to detach the two cameras in the chamber and put them in the door together. Then something weird happened. The first time I did this, I stacked the cameras on top of each other in the open doorway and took the cube off the button. I was surprised to hear a voice line I was supposed to find later in the game. "You're not a good person. You know that, right?" Then I noticed that the cube was off the button but the door didn't close. Same thing happened the second time I did this. The voice line, then the broken door. But this time I only had to put one camera in the door. Nothing else. I know how the triggers for the voice lines in Portal work, and the one I triggered was WAY far away from me. Is this a intended feature, or a glitch? And if it is a glitch, can someone explain it to me?

    Portal 2 Won't Launch

    Posted: 17 Feb 2020 12:32 PM PST

    Hey all!

I purchased Portal 2 on steam about 2 years ago. I played it and beat the game and then uninstalled it, as I had stopped playing it. Recently, I got the urge to play it again. I reinstalled it, but when ever I press play, it will say running next to the game title on the left, and then stop. The game doesn't open.

I scoured the internet for a potential answer, but not much seems to to be working.

I tried verifying the game cache, running Steam in offline mode, restarting my computer, and updating my drivers.

I am not very skilled with computers, so I don't understand any complex solution.

    Does anyone have any fix?

    Thanks!
