    Investment opportunity #5: Organs?

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 11:24 PM PST

Hello investors, Cave Johnson here. I need organs, and I need them now. Aperture Science needs to become worth more than <<Investor name here>> organs and the organs of everyone in <<Investor universe here>>. Now gentlemen, how do we do this? Let me introduce you to the multiverse. We will steal all their organs and portal them to a big hole my lab boys have built up. *Video of organs being harvested* That is not an organ hole, that is an organ harvester. We sell those too. Cave Johnson, we're done here.

    I have an opinion

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 10:36 AM PST

I think the "part 5: boobytrap the stalemate button!" Joke is one of the best in the game, just cause the timing and Wheatley's reaction is on point.

I made a Character Moveset for Chell as if she was in Smash, what do you think?

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 11:31 AM PST

    There it is!

As you can imagine, making a moveset for such character with such abilities was tough, and I needed some days... but imo now this moveset is looking pretty good.

    Theory: Doug is Chell’s dad

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 11:05 AM PST

Ok, this might seem crazy, but it makes sense. We already know that Chell's parents worked in Aperture. The reason Doug moved Chell to the top of the list is probably because she's his daughter. Doug wrote the scramblings on the wall because he knew Chell was alive and wanted to tell her that the cake is a lie. He had a companion cube because he missed having her daughter as a companion.

My dream for a Portal prequel

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 10:20 AM PST

It would be an open world game with a Half-Life type of storytelling. You would be a close colleague to Doug Rattman and Chell's guardian, or even Chell's guardian. This would be better for telling more about Rattmann's character that if we would play with him. This could make possible the Valve-style silent protagonist and create an reason why Chell is silent. Also it could be a funny joke when someone comes to talk to the protagonist and Chell and neither Chell or his protagonist would talk. The protagonist would be hired by Aperture in the early 1980's. Then we could witness the start of GLAdOS development and would meet Cave and Caroline. Then we could witness the merging with GLAdOS and the fall of the company. There would be a few puzzles during Aperture's employee testing phase. They would be the same from Portal 2, for 2 reasons. 1 would be that you could play this game before the main-line Portal games and 2, to see what the area looked like when it was maintained. Also would be interested to see how Aperture reacted to the Black Mesa Incident and would it rip Aperture to half. The game would end on the Bring Your Daughter to Work day where we would meet Chell anyways if we wouldn't be his guardian. Also the game would explain details of the Borealis, which is why this game would be Half-Life of storytelling so the game would appeal to Half-Life fans not interested in the puzzles of Portal, and Portal fans having mone info about Aperture. Also it could lay down expedations for Half-Life 3 on what would be on the Borealis.
