    Theories for Portal Stories: Mel?

    I played Portal Stories:Mel for the first time a month or two ago, and found that it had a pretty straightforward story line. However there were a few lines from Virgil that I picked up on, and it got me thinking that maybe there was more depth to the story than what was shown.     I thought that maybe it suggested that Mel wasn't the first test subject that Virgil had helped out. Or perhaps I'm just digging a bit too deep. Does anyone else have any theories?

    As far as I know, I'm not supposed to have the portal gun at this point. I just got out of the elevator where Cave is bragging about his testing spheres. I got out of the loading screen and it spawned me with a portal gun. Playing advanced mode btw if that makes a difference.

    Edit: I killed myself in the goo and the portal gun is gone now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Problems using the "Reshade" mod

    I want to use the "Reshade" mod to improve the looks of Portal 2 but I'm having problems. I installed everything. My first issue was that I couldn't open the Reshade menu. I checked a thread somewhere and pasted a code in the file ReShade.ini to make the menu open by pressing Shift + F2. This is the code I pasted:

    InputProcessing=2

    KeyWireframe=0,0,0,0

    KeyEffects=0,0,0,0

    KeyReload=0,0,0,0

    KeyMenu=113,0,1,0

    However, when I press Shift + F2 now, it just opens a "Demo Playback" instead. What can I do?
